The Country Haven Lodge is a great choice for those looking for a quiet more private place to vacation. The lodge is next door to our home but still quiet as we don't bother you. We are only about 30 minutes from the lake and all of it's offerings. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is about 15 minutes away as well as many other attractions. Property overlooks Niangua River which is a tributary of the Osage River. Fully functioning kitchen, large big big screen TV (with Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube TV) and WiFi, new washer/dryer, really nice back deck with gas fire pit to watch sunsets and plenty of parking. The property is between the town of Buffalo (5 miles to the west) and Lebanon (22 miles to the east). Please feel free to use whatever we have in the kitchen/pantry while you are visiting but please be so kind as to replace it for us! Hopefully this will help you some in settling in! We have internet BUT it’s not the greatest as we are in the country so please keep that in mind if that’s a crucial piece for you. Additionally cell phone’s work here and we use them all the time but sending photos takes time. At the best location in the house, with AT&T we have 2 bars. The property is right on the Niangua River. Please enjoy the view but do not try to go down. It's very unsafe and entry is restricted. If you are coming with children, we welcome them. We don’t have any cribs or high chairs etc at the property and wanted you to know in advance. We offer affordable family fun for all ages on most Saturday nights May thru October. Cackle Hatchery is one of only 12 Hobby Hatcheries left in the USA and located in Lebanon Missouri. In the 1940-1950 every town in the USA had a small poultry hatchery located in town, today there are only about 12 of these chicken hatcheries that produce poultry chicks for the backyard use or small farm buyer. Cackle Hatchery provides free limited tours, store, incubation viewing, resources, and live baby chicks to see or purchase. They have over 185 varieties of poultry in their chicken hatchery. Boswell Aquatic Center is located at Boswell Park. The center features a pool with a spring board, two slides, an aquatic climbing wall, kids pool area, free wi-fi, and other various amenities.
